Ideas contest without prizes

It is about the tallest furnace tower from Romania, located in Baia Mare city, north of Romania, Maramures county

The Phoenix Copper Smelter, is a smelter of sulfurous copper ores in Baia MareRomania.

Due to the toxic fumes causing acid rain, it has a 351.5 m (1,153 ft) chimney, built in 1995,[1] making it the tallest artificial structure inRomania and the third tallest chimney in Europe.

The tower is no longer in use.[2] according to wikipedia

The local authorities want to ecologize the entire area that surrround the tower but what should they do with the tower? Demolish it or keep it for tourist attraction if it is possible.

Any ideas?
