Health damages revealed by Israeli court on a case against Dimona Nuclear reactor.
At a court at Petah Tikvah (former Palestinan village: Mlabbis), Israeli safety engineer gave a testimony to Petah Tikvah District Court on Monday 14 December 2011. He explained that the possibility of radiation contamination at Dimona reactor at Negev hasn’t been assigned to any party internally or by outsourcing till late 1990s. The said radiation contamination was the subject of the lawsuit case against the nuclear plants filed by forty four employees at Negev and Soreq Reactors in mid 1990s. He also testified that whatever tests undertaken in the past at the Negev Nuclear Reactor Centre at the Dimona Nuclear Plant were more or less superficial and insufficient.
Moreover, the head of radiation safety at the Soreq Nuclear Centre said that should preventive radiation tests have been undergone seriously before, the cancer victims could have been spared most probably. Her testimony was made last week….
